Tuprag Says It Locates Nearly 600 Tons Gold Reserve In Turkey

USAK - Nearly 600 tons of gold reserve has been located in Turkey, said Tuprag, the Turkish agency of Canadian Eldorado Gold company that will extract gold in Katrancilar region in Esme town of Turkey's western Usak province.
Tuprag's Public Relations Director Mehmet Yilmaz told the A.A correspondent that they had been exploring gold reserves in Turkey, adding, ''we have located nearly 600 tons of gold reserve; 240 tons in Kisladag (Esme), 100 tons in Kemaliye (Erzincan), 25 tons in Bergama (Izmir), 35 tons in Esencukur (Menderes), 5.5 tons in Kaymak (Eskisehir), 7 tons in Havran (Balikesir), 30 tons in Cerattepe (Artvin) and the gold reserve in Sart region in Salihli town of Manisa.''
''We believe there are more gold reserves in other places in Turkey which is also rich of boron reserves. If these underground resources are exploited, we believe Turkey's economy would grow swiftly and there would be no unemployment,'' he added.
