Turkish, Arab Foreign Ministers To Gather In Istanbul

ANKARA - Foreign ministers from Turkey, Syria, Algeria, Djibouti and Saudi Arabia are set to gather in an Istanbul meeting in October under the Turkish-Arab Cooperation Forum, a statement from the Turkish Foreign Ministry said Saturday.
The statement said the meeting would confirm the will to further develop relations between Turkey and Arab countries, and it would boost efforts for the Middle East.
The Turkish-Arab Cooperation Forum was set up in Istanbul in November 2007 with an agreement signed by Turkish Foreign Minister Ali Babacan and Arab League Secretary General Amr Moussa.
