Turkey's President Opens New York Stock Exchange

NEW YORK - The Turkish president opened on Friday the New York Stock Exchange.
Turkey`s President Abdullah Gul received information from executives of the stock exchange, and rang the opening bell.
Gul later signed the special register of the stock exchange, and said he was pleased to be at the New York Stock Exchange.
"Actually, I am here at a very interesting time because there is a financial crisis right now and it has reflections on the world," Gul said.
Gul also said he hoped everything would be fine, and also he hoped that he would bring luck to the stock exchange.
