BAKU - Turkish State Minister in charge of women and families, Nimet Cubukcu, said Friday that Turkey pays high importance to its relations with Azerbaijan.
Speaking to AA in Baku where she is attending the Third Women`s Assembly, Cubukcu stressed that the "Turkish government aims to develop relations with Azerbaijan in all areas and not just in political and economic spheres."
"I feel at home while in Azerbaijan. We pay high attention to invitations we receive from Azerbaijan and try to participate in related functions," Cubukcu noted.
Referring to the Third Women`s Assembly, Cubukcu stressed that she hopes the "assembly would generate beneficial results for the women of Azerbaijan and the region."
Minister Cubukcu is expected to leave Baku for Turkey later on Friday night.
