ANKARA - Foreign exchange reserves of Turkish Central Bank increased to 79.7 billion USD on September 19th, the bank said on Thursday.
The reserves were 78.6 billion USD on September 12th.
In its weekly bulletin, the Central Bank said its total gross reserves (foreign currency plus gold) rose to 121 billion USD. They were around 118.6 billion USD on September 12th.
Turkey paid back 929 million USD of foreign debt between September 1st and 24th, and 11.9 billion USD till the beginning of 2008.
