Turkish Foreign Minister Continues Meetings In New York

NEW YORK - Turkish Foreign Minister Ali Babacan continues his busy diplomacy traffic in New York.
Babacan, currently in New York to attend 63rd Session of the U.N. General Assembly, attended meeting of Alliance of Civilizations Friendship Group and met Kazakh Foreign Minister Marat Tazhin, Guatemala`s Foreign Minister Roger Haroldo Rodas, and foreign minister Micheline Calmy-Rey of Switzerland.
Babacan also addressed Organization for Islamic Conference (OIC) Jammu-Kashmir contact group meeting which was closed to the press.
Within the scope of his schedule, Babacan also participated in "Situation in Georgia", the extraordinary meeting of Council of Europe foreign ministers.
