UNITED NATIONS - Turkish President Abdullah Gul, who is currently in New York for the 63rd term UN General Assembly meetings, started to hold talks at the UN on Wednesday.
Gul held bilateral meetings with Australia`s prime minister, Sri Lanka`s president, Nepal`s prime minister, Lebanon`s president, Croatia`s prime minister and Sao Tome & Principe`s president.
Gul will attend World Leaders Forum which will be held by Foreign Policy Association. The Association will present a medal to Gul for his efforts to restore peace in the Middle East.
Gul will attend a dinner together with Turkish Foreign Minister Ali Babacan at Turkish House.
