Turkey's Premier Sends Condolence Message To His Pakistani Counterpart

ANKARA - The Turkish prime minister sent a message of condolence to his Pakistani counterpart on Sunday after the terrorist attack that hit the capital of Pakistan.
Turkey's Premier Recep Tayyip Erdogan sent a message of condolence to his Pakistani counterpart Yousuf Raza Gilani, and condemned the recent terrorist attack in Islamabad that targeted at Pakistan's stability and democracy, Erdogan's office said in a statement.
"Whatever its source and reason are, Turkey sees terrorism as a crime against humanity and always stresses the need for an efficient global cooperation and solidarity against terrorism," Erdogan said in his message.
Erdogan also reaffirmed Turkey's determination to support Pakistan's fight against terrorism and extreme movements.
A suicide bomber detonated a truck packed with explosives outside the Marriott Hotel in Islamabad, setting off a blast that shuttered the hotel on Saturday evening. The bomb attack killed 53 and wounded more than 260.
