PARIS - The First European Union (EU)-Central Asia Ministers Forum will convene in Paris on Thursday, September 18th, 2008.
Turkish Foreign Minister and Chief Negotiator for EU talks Ali Babacan would attend the forum.
Among the topics to be discussed at the forum are drug trafficking and the fight against terror, energy security, environmental issues and human trafficking.
The forum is designed to promote EU`s relations with Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan.
Afghanistan is also set to participate in the forum.
EU president France`s Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner would host the forum.
