ANKARA - Turkish and U.S. military chiefs talked during a meeting on Monday over issues concerning both Turkey and the United States as well as regional matters, a statement from the Turkish General Staff said.
Turkish Chief of General Staff General Ilker Basbug and U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff Admiral Michael Mullen met in the Turkish capital of Ankara.
The two chiefs of staff took up "military issues, the fight against the terrorist organization of PKK/KONGRA-GEL, recent developments in Iraq, Afghanistan as well as Georgia," the statement said.
