Unemployment 9 P.C. In June

ANKARA - Unemployment rate in Turkey stood at 9 percent as of June 2008.
Unemployment rate in the same period last year was 8.8 percent.
According to the Turkish Board of Statistics (TUIK), unemployment rate in urban centers was 11.5 percent and in rural areas was 5.2 percent.
