36TH EUROPEAN MEN`S BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIP
ANKARA - Turkish national basketball team defeated Ukraine 86-64 in Eurobasket 2009 qualifier in Kiev, Ukraine on Saturday.
It was the Turkish team`s fourth qualifier. The 36th European Basketball Championship will take place in Poland in September 2009.
Turkey, playing in the Group (C), also won the first three matches, and are actually the leaders in the group.
Turkish national basketball team defeated Ukraine 86-73 in a home match on September 3rd. Later they defeated Belgium 78-63 in an away match on September 6th, and they beat France 77-65 in a home match on September 10th.
Turkey will take on Belgium in a home match on September 17th and France in an away match on September 20th.
