Turkish Film "iki Cizgi" To Be Screened In Beirut And Oslo

ISTANBUL - "Iki Cizgi" (Two Lines), a film by Turkish director Selim Evci, will represent Turkey at film festivals in Beirut and Oslo.
The Turkish film will first be screened in "International Panorama" section of the International Film Festival in Beirut, Lebanon organized by Beirut Film Foundation between October 1st and 8th, 2008.
The film will later represent Turkey in the 18th "Films from the South" festival between October 9th and 19th, 2008 in Oslo, Norway. The film will compete with 11 others to win International Federation of Film Critics Award in "New Directions" section of the festival. Films particularly from Asia, Africa and Latin America are invited to the festival.
"Two Lines" previously represented Turkey at the 65th Venice International Film Festival and made world premiere in the "International Film Critics Week" section of the 65th Venice International Film Festival.
