Security Forces Arrest 189 Illegal Migrants

AYDIN/CANAKKALE - Turkish coast guard teams and gendarmerie squads arrested 189 illegal migrants in operations on Thursday.
Acting on a tip, coast guard teams apprehended 167 illegal migrants, mostly Palestinians and Iraqis, who were about to head to Greek islands from Didim town of the Aegean province of Aydin.
In two separate operations in Ayvacik town of another Aegean province Canakkale, gendarmerie squads arrested 22 Afghan illegal migrants.
Security forces also arrested two Turkish human traffickers in operations.
