ANKARA - Foreign exchange reserves of Turkish Central Bank decreased to 78.4 billion USD on September 5th, the bank said on Thursday.
The reserves were 79.4 billion USD on August 29th.
In its weekly bulletin, the Central Bank said its total gross reserves (foreign currency plus gold) rose to 123.988 billion USD on August 29th. They were around 123.921 billion USD on August 22nd.
Turkey paid back 80.2 million USD of foreign debt between September 1st and 10th, and 11.1 billion USD since the beginning of 2008.
