ISTANBUL - Turkish Greco-Roman wrestling national team will leave for Greek capital Athens on Sunday to participate in the 28th Summer Olympic Games.
The national team consists of Ercan Yildiz (55 kg), Seref Tufenk (60 kg), Seref Eroglu (66 kg), Hamza Yerlikaya (84 kg), Mehmet Ozal (96 kg) and Yekta Yilmaz Gul (120 kg).
Meanwhile, Ata Karatas, the coach and technical manager of the national team, told the A.A correspondent, ''we are ready to vie for gold medal in the Olympic Games. We are proud of our sportsmen who won gold medals in weight-lifting. Now, we want to take medals in Greco-Roman wrestling.''
