Israeli Troops Arrest Five Hamas Militants In West Bank: Palestinians

JENIN, West Bank, Aug 22 (AFP) - Israeli troops on Sunday arrested five militants from the radical Hamas movement hiding in a house in the northern West Bank, Palestinian security sources said.
Some 15 Israeli jeeps moved into Qabatiya town, several kilometres (just over a mile), south of Jenin and surrounded the building where they were hiding, they said.
After a short stand-off, troops arrested the five, they said.
The Israeli army had no immediate comment on the arrests.
