BRUSSELS - Turkish Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association (TUSIAD) Executive Board Chairperson Arzuhan Dogan Yalcindag met with EU Commissioner for Enlargement Olli Rehn in Brussels on Monday.
Yalcindag told reporters after the meeting that they exchanged views with Rehn about the opposition parties.
"We should mobilize opposition parties too about EU issue," she added.
Yalcindag said that Rehn told her that Turkey's strategic importance was once again seen after the recent developments in Georgia.
"Rehn gave the message that reforms in Turkey should be pursued, and Turkish National Program --which was recently announced-- should be fulfilled," said Yalcindag.
"We also discussed the visit of Turkish President Abdullah Gul to Armenia, Constitutional amendment issue, regional development, global economic developments and energy issues," said Yalcindag.
