Israeli Troops Blow Up Suspected Bomb Factory In Nablus

JERUSALEM, Aug 21 (AFP) - Israeli soldiers on Saturday blew up a suspected bomb-making operation hidden in a metal workshop in the Old City of Nablus, in the northern West Bank, witnesses and Israeli military sources said.
The strong explosion collapsed the empty building, the witnesses said.
An Israeli military source said the soldiers blew up explosives they found inside, as well as chemicals used to make bombs.
Israeli troops launched a large search operation in the Old City.
They reported finding two Qassam rockets, named after the military wing of the radical Hamas movement, which were being manufactured in another building in the city.
