ANKARA, Aug 20 (AFP) - An earthquake measuring 4.6 on the Richter scale Friday rocked Turkey`s southwestern Aegean coast, but there were no reports of casualties.
The epicenter of the quake, which struck at 2:12 p.m. (1112 GMT), was at sea, off the coastal town of Datca, the Istanbul Kandilli seismological institute said.
The tremor was also felt in the nearby resort towns of Marmaris and Bodrum, which attract scores of foreign tourists each summer, Anatolia news agency reported.
A flurry of earthquakes measuring up to 5.4 shook the same region for several days earlier this month.
