BISHKEK - A Turkish mountaineer died in Kyrgyzstan after he fell down from a cliff on August 17, Turkish Embassy in Bishkek said on Friday.
Officials from the embassy noted that mountaineer Hakan Guvenc fell down to death from a 1,200 meter-cliff when he was climbing to Victory Peak of Tien Shan Mountain near China.
Body of Guvenc could not be found yet.
Foreign Ministry informed Guvenc's family about the accident.
Guvenc was working as a doctor in Giresun State Hospital.
