Security Forces Arrest 161 Illegal Migrants

ANKARA - Turkish Security Forces arrested Wednesday 161 illegal migrants in operations across Turkey.
Coast Guard teams caught 28 Afghan, Pakistani and Palestinian illegal migrants on an inflatable boat offshore of Ayvacik town of the northwestern province of Canakkale while gendarmerie teams in Aegean province of Aydin arrested 64 illegal migrants of Palestinian, Iranian, Iraqi, Afghan, Mauritanian and Eritrean origin.
In operations waged by Border Patrol and gendarmerie teams in northwestern border province of Edirne 59 illegal migrants of Burmese, Palestinian and Iraqi origin were caught .
The illegal migrants were handed to authorities and will be deported after legal proceedings.
