Turkish Biscuits & Chocolate Producer Acquires Lovells Brand Name

ISTANBUL - Yildiz Holding, owner of Turkey`s biscuit & chocolates conglomerate Ulker Group, acquired brand name of British chocolate producer Lovells, company`s media agency said on Wednesday.
Bersay Communication said in a statement that Yildiz Holding planned to launch premium chocolate and chocolate products into the Turkish market under Lovells brand.
Bersay said works on brand positioning and strategies were under way and the brand would be introduced to Turkish market in the coming days.
Last year, Yildiz Holding acquired Godiva, a Belgium chocolate business renowned for its premium quality chocolate delights, for 850 million USD.
