Turk Telekom Bids In Kyrgyztelecom Tender

ISTANBUL - Turkey`s fixed-line phone operator Turk Telekom said Wednesday it has bid in a tender to privatize Kyrgyzstan`s fixed-line phone monopoly Kyrgyztelecom.
Kyrgyztelecom is the leading fixed-line operator in the country and holds the GSM licence through its subsidiary KT Mobile LLC, Turk Telekom said in a statement sent to Istanbul Stock Exchange.
Kyrgyz government plans to sell nearly 78 percent shares of state-owned Kyrgyztelecom.
