American Rock Band R.E.M. To Perform In Istanbul

ISTANBUL - American rock band R.E.M. will give a concert in Istanbul on October 4th.
The band will arrive in Turkey within the framework of a European tour promoting their latest album "Accelerate".
They will perform at Istanbul`s Kurucesme Arena.
R.E.M. is an American rock band formed in Athens, Georgia, in 1980 by Michael Stipe (lead vocals), Peter Buck (guitar), Mike Mills (bass guitar), and Bill Berry (drums and percussion).
The band achieved great success with songs like "Losing my Religion", "Shiny Happy People", "Everybody Hurts" and "The One I Love".
