ANKARA - Turkey`s president received a briefing on "Middle East Security Systems" and held a series of talks with foreign officials at Cankaya Presidential Palace in capital Ankara on Tuesday.
President Abdullah Gul first received a briefing from the Turkish Foreign Ministry officials. High-level ministry officials and bureaucrats attended the one-hour briefing.
Later, Gul separately held talks with U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee member Richard Lugar and Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Trade, Industry, Commerce and Consumer Affairs of Saint Kitts & Nevis, Timothy Sylvester Harris.
Both meetings were closed to press.
