O.S.C.E. Asks For Observers From Turkey For Elections In Afghanistan

ANKARA - Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) asked Turkey to send observers to overlook the elections which will be held in Afghanistan on September 9.
Sources said on Thursday that OSCE is looking for observers and experts who could help that the elections be held in conformity with the international norms and can give education to Afghan people.
Ankara government is actually assessing the demand and has contacts with related organizations and institutions, it was learned.
Higher Election Board (YSK) cannot send experts due to deficiency of personnel who speak foreign language, however it pursues negotiations with academicians.
Nearly 9 million voters were registered for the elections in Afghanistan.
