Third Round Of Collective Bargaining Talks Begins

ANKARA - The third round of collective bargaining talks between the government and civil servants' labor unions has begun.
Bircan Akyildiz, chairman of the Turkish Public Workers' Labor Union (Kamu-Sen), expressed his belief that quite important steps would be taken during the third round of the talks.
"The delegation representing the public workers at the talks are in full consensus. We expect the government to meet our requirements," he said.
The talks presided by State Minister Murat Basesgioglu, and attended by two of Turkey's major civil servant unions, Kamu-Sen and Memur-Sen, began on August 15th.
