A Person Detained In Connection With Blast In Izmir

IZMIR - A person has been detained in the southeastern province of Diyarbakir for his alleged involvement in last week`s blast in the western province of Izmir.
The detainee was brought to Izmir for questioning.
Nine people have been detained so far in connection with the blast.
Sixteen people including three military personnel and seven police officers were injured in Izmir on August 22nd when a car laden with explosives was detonated as a minibus carrying police officers and a military automobile were passing.
