ISTANBUL - Turkish anti-drug teams confiscated 157 kg of heroin in 53 separate operations conducted in Istanbul over the past 10 days, officials said on Thursday.
Police teams also seized 45 kg of hashish and detained 115 people in these operations, officials added.
In a separate operation in capital Ankara, police teams impounded 8 kg of hashish on Thursday. Police said 14 people were detained in the operation.
