ANKARA - Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan sent Thursday a letter of condolence to Pakistani Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani over terrorist attacks that hit Pakistan over the past few days.
Blasts in the past few days in Pakistan`s different cities killed at least 87 and wounded scores.
Erdogan said in his letter that Turkish government strongly condemned these nefarious attacks that aimed at breaking peace in Pakistan, Turkish Prime Minister`s press office said in a statement.
"I fully believe that traitors, who staged these attacks, will be defeated by unity and social reconciliation that Pakistani people would reach," he said.
"Turkey has always highlighted the need for global cooperation and solidarity against terrorism which it sees as a crime against humanity," Erdogan added.
