Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan Pipeline To Resume Oil Flow Next Week, Officials Say

LONDON - One of the major west-bound pipelines is expected to go operational again next week after oil flow was disrupted due to a blaze on the Turkish section of the conduit two weeks ago, officials said Thursday.
The Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline will make the first shipment since August 5th, when the blast damaged part of the Turkish section near Refahiye in Erzincan province.
The pipeline connects the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli oil field in the Caspian Sea over Georgia to Turkey`s Mediterranean port of Ceyhan.
