Security Forces Impound 221 Kg Of Drug In Istanbul In Last Ten Days

ISTANBUL - Security forces have impounded 221 kg of illicit drug in the megacity of Istanbul in the last ten days.
The Provincial Security Department in Istanbul said in a statement on Thursday that narcotics teams launched 53 operations in different districts of Istanbul against drug dealers.
During the operations, they seized 157 kg of heroin, 45 kg of hashish, 3.5 kg of opium and 147 gram of cocaine, and detained 115 people for their alleged involvement in illicit drug trafficking.
