16 People Injured In Explosion In Izmir

IZMIR - Izmir Governor`s Office said on Thursday that 16 people were wounded in the explosion in Konak town of the western province of Izmir.
Huseyin Arisoy, one of the soldiers wounded in the explosion, is in serious condition, and he underwent a surgery, the office stated.
The rest were slightly injured in the explosion, it said.
Early in the morning, a car parked in front of military and police shuttles exploded in Konak town of Izmir.
