President Gul Discusses Darfur With Sudan's President Al- Bashir

ISTANBUL - Turkish President Abdullah Gul and Sudan`s President Omar al-Bashir discussed "Darfur" at a meeting in Istanbul on Tuesday.
Speaking at the meeting, Gul said everybody felt sorrow over the human tragedies regardless of their race, language, and religion, and everybody should do his best to put an end to such pain.
President Gul also said Turkey would continue to offer health services in Sudan.
The two presidents also discussed economic relations where Gul asked more opportunities to be provided to Turkish private sector in Sudan.
Separately, Turkish President Gul met President of Mali Amadou Toumani Toure who is currently in Turkey to attend Turkey-Africa Cooperation Summit. The meeting was closed to the press.
