Three Hurt In Palestinian Missile Attack On Jewish Settlement

JERUSALEM, Aug 18 (AFP) - Three people were wounded, one seriously, when Palestinian missiles hit the Gush Katif settlement bloc in the southern Gaza Strip, Israeli medical sources said Wednesday.
A foreign worker sustained serious head injuries, they said, while another person was in moderate condition and a third was only lightly hurt.
Israeli military sources earlier described the strike, which they said had wounded two people in the Neve Dkalim settlement.
"As a result of two rockets or mortars fired towards Neve Dkalim, two Israelis are wounded, one of whom is thought to be in serious condition," one said.
The attack was claimed by the Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, in a fax sent to AFP in Gaza City.
