Iraq's Head Of State Says Turkey's Consulate General In Mosul To Restart To Work Soon

ANKARA - Iraq's Head of State Ghazi al-Yawer said on Tuesday that Turkey's consulate general would restart to work soon.
Holding a press conference, al-Yawer expressed sorrow over press reports which claimed that there was a deadlock in his talks with Turkish officials. Al-Yawer noted, ''no issue which might cause deadlock was brought onto the agenda in meetings.''
Replying to a question on the status of Kirkuk, Iraq's Head of State stated that Kirkuk was the city of all Iraqi citizens, stressing that it was out of question for any citizen to have superiority over other citizens due to his race or ethnic origin.
Upon a question on developments in Najaf, al-Yawer said that creation of a separate army from Iraqi army and a different system from judiciary system could not be accepted, noting that they could grant rights to people according to their demands. Al-Yawer invited those people to join the political process.
