Turkish Textile Products Fair Opens In London

ISTANBUL - The Fifth Turkish Textile Products Fair of the Istanbul Textiles and Raw Materials Exporters' Association (ITHIB) opened in British capital London on Tuesday.
Releasing a statement, ITHIB said that 56 leading Turkish firms such as Bossa, Altinyildiz, Kipas, Gulle, Bahariye, Akin, Guney Polgat and Yunsa and British textile firms took part in the fair.
Speaking at opening of the fair, ITHIB Chairman Ismail Gulle said, ''both British and European trademarks have an increasing interest in Turkish textile products. Exports of textiles from Turkey to Britain and the other European Union (EU)-member countries have risen recently.''
The fair will remain open till August 19.
