GUNEYSU - Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Tuesday that rainy weather in Istanbul paralyzed daily life, adding, ''there is no casualty and problems were overcome rapidly because we already took necessary measures.''
Answering questions of reporters, Erdogan said that flood disasters in summer paralyze daily life not only in Turkey but also in the whole world.
Noting that they had earlier made necessary warnings about rainy weather, Erdogan said that infrastructure in Turkey was seriously insufficient, stressing that this problem should be overcome as soon as possible.
