SIRNAK - One soldier was killed and eight others were wounded when a road-side land mine, planted by PKK terrorists, went off on Sirnak-Cizre road on Monday.
Governor's Office of the southeastern province of Sirnak stated that the land mine went off while a military vehicle was passing by on the 25th kilometer of Sirnak-Cizre road. One non-commissioned officer was killed and eight soldiers were injured in the explosion.
Wounded soldiers were taken to Sirnak Military Hospital.
