ISTANBUL - Turkcell signed a deal with Apple to sell iPhone 3G in Turkey, Turkey`s leading mobile phone operator said on Monday.
iPhone 3G launched a new era in mobile communication with high speed data provided by third generation networks and it combines the internet and multimedia experiences on a mobile phone, Turkcell said.
"We are very excited about the deal with Apple," Turkcell Vice General Manager Lale Saral Develioglu said.
"We are looking forward to putting it on the market for our 35 million customers," she said.
Turkcell said price and tariffs for iPhone would be announced later, adding that Turkcell customers could pre-order the phone on company website.
