Turkish Ministry Of Foreign Affairs On Humanitarian Aid To Georgia

ANKARA - Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs has said that relevant institutions sent required humanitarian aid to Georgia.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said, "Turkey has been fully cooperating with countries, especially the allies, which aim at sending humanitarian aid to Georgia. So far, Turkey has not rejected any request for dispatch of humanitarian aid and evacuation of people."
"The dispatch of aid to Georgia by vessels is carried out in line with the Montreux Convention signed in 1936," it said.
