Turkish Painter Wins Gold Medal In Beijing Olympics

BEIJING - 2008 Beijing Olympics Fine Arts Committee awarded the painting of Turkish painter Elif Cimen with gold medal.
Cimen, with her painting "Circles & Cycles", won gold medal as well as a certificate by International Olympic Committee (IOC) President Jacques Rogge.
Cimen`s painting will be exhibited at Beijing Culture Hall and Forbidden City till the end of September.
Painter Cimen is assistant professor at Balikesir University.
