ISTANBUL - Representatives from Turkish and African non-governmental organizations met Thursday at an Istanbul forum, which was hosted by Turkey`s Turkish-Asian Center for Strategic Studies (ASAM).
Representatives from over a hundred non-governmental organizations in 45 African countries are participating at the two-day event which will end on Friday after a final a final declaration is released.
Turkey`s development agency has extended around 2 billion USD development aid annually to Africa and it runs an agricultural development program in 13 African countries, a Turkish official said.
