ISTANBUL - Istanbul Governor Muammer Guler said on Monday that three people died and 12 others were injured in an accident in Tuzla shipyards zone in Istanbul.
Guler, who visited the injured workers at hospital, said the technical explanation would be made by an expert institution.
Guler also said prosecutor`s office launched an investigation into the accident.
61 workers have died due to various accidents at Tuzla shipyards since 2000.
