Turkish Red Crescent To Send Humanitarian Aid To Georgia

ARTVIN - Turkish aid organization Kizilay (Red Crescent) will send humanitarian aid to Georgia after thousands of people were injured in clashes in South Ossetia.
Seval Guzelkilinc, coordinator of the humanitarian aid team for Caucasus, said on Sunday that they would send a communication vehicle and two truckloads of humanitarian aid to Georgia.
Guzelkilinc said, "we have been keeping our 37-member team ready at the border region with Georgia. We will carry 150 tents, 2,500 blankets, 150 beds and potable water by two trucks."
"At first, a five-member team will leave for Georgia. In case of a requirement, we will reinforce our team. Also, we keep our 15-bed field hospital ready," Guzelkilinc added.
