ANKARA - Turkey responded affirmatively to the demand of Georgia to get electricity from Turkey after clashes that erupted in the region after South Ossetia declared independence unilaterally.
Georgia, which currently has an agreement with Turkey on electricity commerce, asked for additional electricity on Friday morning.
Turkish party started to supply electricity to Georgia on Friday afternoon.
