Petrol Ofisi's Net Profit 131 Mln Ytl In First Half Of 2008

ISTANBUL - Net profit of Turkey's main oil distributor Petrol Ofisi (PO) was 131 million YTL in the first half of 2008. (1 USD = 1.1570 YTL)
PO stated on Wednesday that net sale amount of the company increased 35 percent and reached 8.08 million YTL in the first half of 2008 when compared to the same period of 2007.
PO's loss in the first six months of 2007 was 53 million YTL.
Also the company's sale volume rose nine percent in the first half of 2008 when compared to the same period of 2007.
