Blast Hits Baku - Tbilisi - Ceyhan Oil Pipeline

ERZINCAN - An explosion hit Refahiye part of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) oil pipeline on Tuesday, setting off a fire.
Officials cut the oil flow as fire broke out after the blast.
Subgovernor Mehmet Makas of Refahiye town of the eastern province of Erzincan said that the blast was caused by a system failure not due to a sabotage.
Makas said that they had taken all necessary security measures in the region.
