Police Detain 14 People Who Protest F-type Prisons

ISTANBUL - Police detained 14 people on Saturday who protested practices in F-type prisons and to expend support to those who are death fasting in prisons.
The group, comprised of nearly 20 people, came to Bogazici Bridge and tried to stop traffic on the bridge.
Police intervened in the group and detained nine people. Some of those in the group fled and some of them climbed on the cables of the bridge.
One of the activists, who climbed the cable, said they protested practices in F-type prisons.
Police later detained those people who threw a booklet expending support to those who are death fasting in prisons.
